I'd say so when its on BET in almost every single song. Its your network you get to choose how you are portrayed on it. Even if it is owned by white people (I think) I'm sure there are black editors and producers who get the final say before things are aired. I personally have no problem with Eminem i just don't like him, i don't feel like he reflects on white people at all.

But as double standards go to show, a black rapper is representative of black ppl in your eyes? Give me a fukin break....

BET is my network? Didn't know that white ppl couldn't or wouldn't watch BET solely because of the network's namesake....

apparently not considering i have seen it to bring up the allusion and it is on my list of channels on my T.V.

And i would say it is representative to a degree, when 80% of music coming from the black community is rap with the N word in it. If it bothered you then you would do something about it as a community, but i guess enough interest is not sparked.

The black community could easily put a stop to the double standard. I think the musicians would respond more to criticism from their own community then the media.

To be honest though i don't know how the community feels as a whole, i feel like some black people hate that rap throws around the N word loosely, and others don't mind it.

    you tell me.

I wanna see the source data on that one!!! Sure it's not 96%.

50% of all statistics are made up...
