Look, nobody is averse to seeing some loudmouth get his comeuppance. But there are better ways to do it than using phrases like 'Gay Speed' and baiting trash talkers by keeping one's hood closed (though I'm sure there could be other reasons, I wasn't there so I'm not even going to bother speculating on the vagaries). At some point you cross the line from 'a little trash talk and calling someone out' to 'making everyone around you more stupid because of all the retarded shenanigans'.

The point of my comment wasn't to say 'I'm better than all of you because I'm more mature', I have no doubt that there are some very couth, upstanding, intelligent people in this community. However, it seems like at these gatherings, it all plummets down to the lowest common denominator in one way or another.

I'm just saying maybe the IA scene could do with a little more class sometimes. I can't imagine why anyone would disagree.

I imagine that was due to the extended thread that I started a few days ago that was widely misunderstood, ironically due to most people's assumptions that I was making a query that was rooted in said immaturity. That should tell you something about how much it permeates this place, when people automatically assume the worst.

Oddly enough, once you get an "exotic" of sorts, nobody really cares anymore about trash talking. We buy them for the cars; the love of the cars. I've got friends with "cheaper" Ferraris, expensive Porsches, and very nice Lambos. Nobody cares who is "faster" as we don't race in a straight line around the city. That isn't important to us. Some of us track the cars, others only drive them on sunny days. It's a totally different, and more mature mindset. It's all about the cars and their history.

what you talking about willis? i've seen you race your car on the hwy... does that have anything to do w/ the history? i'm sorry but if you buy a car like yours and you don't race it then its a complete waste. if you wanted history you could of saved some money and bought a model T (by the way did you see the pix i posted of your car)
