    i LOL'ed. that reminds me of earlier today my mom and i walked into walmart and somebody said "hey" to me. i just kept walking because i thought it was a special person because they always say hey. well come to find out my mom told me it was the door greeter person, and the sad part is that she really was handicapped.

    I have a sick sense of humor in most cases, but couldn't find the humor in these.

    Even worse the person uploading them is joking, the name fartinhaler.

    Because I chuckled silently when they stated "cute" phrases like "I want to be a BIg BLACK BEAR" but afterwards i was kinda saddened again.

    I could never actually laughAT them.


    Not really talking about you since you claimed not to be laughing at them but this is the reason *why* I'm only cool with a select few people on this site. At times it seem as if this site is mainly comprised of a lot of immature selfish people with young careless minds.

    The type of people that laugh AT, or make fun of a child or adult with a mental disability has absolutely no respect from me. No I don't have a family member with a condition like that but i deeply feel the pain that some families go through while having to deal with that type of illness.

    All jokes aside, if you find those videos funny after all of your educational and personal endeavors (As in: you are laughing at the conditions of those people) you really have failed in life.

    x2. I have a nephew that's in the special educational classes but only because he has a vision problem and is considered blind legally. He can see, but he has to get special made large print books and he enjoys being around other disabled children because they don't pick on him. I dont find it funny, but I did enjoy the "I like beer, its good for you". Lol. I have never found any mentally challenged kids funny, and in high school, I was really cool with a few of them. They knew me by name and would talk to me in PE and in the hallways. No one in life chooses how they want to look when they are born, nor choose to look a certain way after a tragic accident later in life. I would never find a reason in my heart to be mean to someone for no reason at all. Its immature, and I was raised better than that, and I expect to grow my daughter up with the same morals.

    not that i particularly think these are funny, but i see where some would think so.

    these care givers that aim to take care of these 'special people' and blend them into everyday society only perpetuate their handicapped stigmas by entering them into these shows or contests that are specifically designed to use said 'special' people.

    as far as laughing at them or with them goes, what do you think the intent of this video originally was? with or at?
