Like it or not man, I'm sure you've seen some modded civic (or other car)out there on the road and thought something about them racing. Don't want to be labeled a street racer, don't drive a car with mods that ppl associate with it. Simple as that. Sterotyping happens everyday, to damn near everyone. Part of life.
He was pulled over (according to the article) for being suspicion illegal modifications used for street racing. That, in itself, is retarded. That would be like frisking me for weapons and drugs just because I wear baggy pants and a hoodie.

Sterotyping FTL, even if it does happen everyday. It's even worse when it's by law enforcement.

EDIT for your edit: I know what you mean man. Still, you know just as much as I do how much labeling and stereotyping sucks. I'm not against the police in Cali taking a stand against street racers, I just wish they had a better system of going about it then just assuming every modded car is own by one.
