shooting someone when it is not a life threatening situation? if someone is robbing you or has a gun he is about to use then by all means go ahead. If its a fight that you both initiated and are engaging in then pulling a gun first and firing without him having a sign of having one is a horrible idea.

I think that you are missing the explanation: Most true, legal gun owners don't just pull guns if they are not in life-threating or serious bodily injury situations.

The original question that you asked is a paradox. Further more, if you are the point to where you both agree to "engage" in a fight, I'm going to guess that you are still in high school or younger. If you aren't, then you had better have one hell of an excuse for acting like some immature punk kid and you had better pray that some grown adult decides that his self preservation isn't worth more than your life.
