He has promised a lot of change and more than that, people that have elected him, I think, think he will do even more than he promised already.

Some things will get done, some wont. If his heathcare plan passes, we are looking at across the board tax increases in double digit percentages. If his tax plan is passed, job loss will go up and his healthcare plan will have to go away. You can go on and on like this through his programs. He simply offered 10x more than is possible, even if we had a thriving, pre housing collapse economy.

Do you think he will reform healthcare? No, it ill simply be far too expensive
Do you think he will get us out of WAR? I hope he doesnt turn tail and run
Do you think he will fix the economy back to Clinton economy days? No, he will drive it further down if he gets his tax plan
Do you think he will reform education in this country? No, he is pro teachers unions and they are a major part of the problem
Do you think he will make aliances with countries we are enemies with? Dont know about this one, Clinton did this by apeasment, I hope Obama has more spine
Do you think he will make us NOT dependant on foreign oil?we will be more dependant

Do you think he has the time to do ALL these things?If he gets 8 years and tempers all of his programs to the center, yes
Do you think he has the resources to get these items done in a non-pardison way? I have no reason to think he will make any extra effort to work in any fashion with republicans
Do you think he can work with Democrats and Republicans in Congress to get all this done?The dems will swallow any pill he offers. He knows he doesnt need a single republican so he wont make any extra effort to work with them.

Any extra pressure that he is under was created by his campaign promises. Although if you look at the fact that dems broke every campaign promise they made in 06 and they still gained more power this year I find it hard to believe that dems will hold him accountable for anything bad. It will simply be blamed on Bush and the republicans. Just like Pelosi did after the first bailout package failed in the house.
