i think the real hard point is that most of these bills are generalized. There is ALOT more to these bills than what is on that website.

ALOT more provisions, alot more points, consequences etc.

Thats not making excuses or anything, but just pointing out that you cant just go by the headline of the bill and then look at the voting record. If you do that, it means absolutely NOTHING.

Obama has gotten some flack for his voting record on some issues but if you REALLY read the bill, i can see why he voted against it, same with mccain.

As for illegals, they are here to stay. Expect another form of the Guest Worker bill to be proposed once someone gets in office
