But the real key to the shaved block thing is, the code on the bottom of the block. If they removed that, chances are it is stolen, lol........
They can very easily prove it is stolen once they notice the vin plate/block code has been tampered with....sadly thats the only evidence they need.

I have been pulled over in my teg plenty of times and was asked to pop my hood, I also had a jdm motor installed and they asked to see the paperwork which I keep in my glove box at all times. It is not illegal to install a jdm motor or any other motor, my grandfather is a sheriff for forsyth county and I can tell you for a fact it is completely legal to have any swap you want in your car just as long as the car is equipped with proper emissions systems,sensors, etc and if the motor was imported you need to have the paperwork with you showing proof of ownership. Anyone else that is going to negate this fact is simply ignorant.

This could not be more far from the truth...... and engine import companies are closing down because the scene is dying and the economy has shifted in a way it will never return to what it once was.
