    Slight confusion here:

Makes a starting noise but doesn't turn over? Either it clicks and doesn't turn over or it turns over but won't start. Which is it?

If it turns over but doesn't start try your ignition coil.. Alright, Im not the brightest person but.. I drove my car like half a mile one day and it dies out, long story short pulled it back home. i changed plugs wires etc. But the ignition coil in my 2000 gsr was why my car would turn over but not start. My opinion man. Do what you will with it..

    OKAY, trouble shooting 101...

    is your immobilizer light on?
is the starter clicking or spinning the engine?
is the battery fullly charged and installed correctly. honestly i believe the terminals are different sizes to prevent this, even though it wouldnt stop a determined person...
Do you have spark? pull a wire and use an old plug... ground the threads to the chassis, and look for a spark on the electrode.
Does it have fuel? loosen the bolt on the fuel filter just enough to see the threads. (13 or 17 i believe)

having fuel and getting fuel are 2 different things. you need to make sure you are getting fuel to the injectors. more info is needed to help you out.

how long did you try to start up the car while it was dead? because trying to start it more than 15 sec without letting your starter rest, will burn your starter up. fully charge battery is 12.6 volts. i would check for fuel and sparks

Pull a plug wire and check for spark, Check your fuel pump, check fuses again. Check your main relay. I had an ECM go bad on a dc2 once even

place your car in neutral. release e-break. stand beside car. hold firmly onto door jam and begin pushing your car. once you have reached the point where you cannot push any faster enter the drivers seat and place into first gear. pop clutch. if car starts and runs it is in your electrical system. if car does not it is a fuel problem.

    Thank you to southern diagnostics.
