valves are shaped differently though on a type r head but the flow would be great.

b17 for real, but a type r would be best. b17 head is the same as a b16 head. typre r is considered a perfect cast of a b16 head. it comes from the factory with different valves, bigger cams, and a mild port and polish on the intake side.

I'd take a C1 with a single runner manifold over a b17 head anyday. Quench pads FTW.

i'm curious why everyone in here is saying b16? gsr has more compression from what i have read and it was a better head than a b16? anyone mind showing why the b16 would be better with facts to prove it?

GSR head would bump up your compression a Lil bit but I would use a B16 or B17 head because you can use a stock intake manifold and on the GSR u would have to buy an aftermarket mani in order not to use the shitty OE one..
