Let me start by saying.. dude.. sweet bike.. go get it. Kinda looks like a CBR1000RR though..
For those who want to learn, you got to go to the MSF course. Either the harley davidson dealership or the honda dealership which offers the classes. For the HD dealerships there is one in Marietta and one in Stone Mountain. The Honda riding school I believe is near Kennesaw. The Harley Davidson class provides you 5 days of learning: 3 in the classroom, 2 in the road test where you learn how to maneuver, controls, and brake. They will also teach you how to maintain the motorcycle.
Whoever is learning on a Ducati or any 1000cc.. let me tell you one thing... please don't... I may have fallen myself into a mistunderstanding, but still I'd like to put this out on the floor. You spent so much money, the throttle is highly tuned for bacisally on the track along with that fact you payed so much I don't want your hopes and dreams slammed on the left or right side... or worse.. front and rear. And most important you.
Along with riding.. no it's really not like driving stick. Shifting is on your left foot. Braking takes a great amount pressure control, along with the rear brake. The comfort zone to the clutch and the throttle must also be practiced... frequently.
actually 500cc is more than enuff to learn.Originally Posted by buffdaddy18
