SE-R and the spec-v are nice but they just don't pull like others, ok...for example, one of the cons about it is the redline, the 6 speed mt is cool but the gearing sucks ass, the variable valve timing on the spec-v is ok but what good is it if you can only ride it for like 1k rpm when it engages, the redline is too close, then the aftermarket parts, not a big selection. I have driven a 2002 Sentra SE-R Spec-V and up against a stock integra gsr, the gsr pulled all day long on a one-on-one stop, 20mph roll, and 60mph drop. Sorry, not ragging on the sentras, just my opinion on those, I don't have all the knowledge as of you guys but just my first hand experience. And no the '02 se-r is not the only one I have driven.

The old B13 and B14 se-r rev to 7500 and are way more fun to drive and handle way better.
And Transaxle what the hell are you talking about? Many out voice the opinions of one?
Your car is slow and the other turbo b13 and b14 se-r's are cooler than yours. Everybody agrees.
Transaxle is your car a 5spd?
If so I'll buy your transmission off you...
is he selling it? if not, it would be kinda weird to buy his transmission, what would he drive with?Originally Posted by HalfBaked

b15s have stronger transmissions than b13s and b14s.
Who cares what he would drive with.

I could care less.Originally Posted by Halfwit

Hell I'll give him a b13 tranny + cash.
good deal, now just hound him til he agrees.

Traded it in about 4 months ago though...... Loved this damn car.
No Half i am not selling my car, so kinda pointless to buy the transmission, and yes its a 5spd. Also 1439/2000 who gives a fuck what you think or anyone else. I love my car, and i could give to shits if it was slow as hell, to me its fast enough and its gets me where i am going. My car is being built for show and not go, yes it will get some go parts but will mostly be set for show. So who gives a fuck what YOU think. I have had tons of compliments on my car, and have had people say it looks like shit. But really they only people who sit there and bash someone elses car, probably really is just jealous about it. i have met your dumbass in at meets and such and seen your car. It may be something rarely seen, but to me it looks like a fucking legend with some gold rims on it. Also it looks like mommy an daddy pay for most of your shit for you. becuase i could give two shits what you think about my car!
1) the variable valve timing is CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE. The switchover at 5000rpms is the dual-stage intake manifold opening up the short runnersOriginally Posted by krucial7integra
2) There is plenty of after market for the 02+ SE-Rs. Pretty much every bolt-on that's available for the average import is available for the SE-R. It's not on the Honda Civic/CRX/Integra scale, but it's pretty expansive (for an example, I think there are at least 6 different companies making qr25de headers)
3) the gear ratios were revised after 02. The only time I've lost to an Integra was the first month I owned my SE-R...I lead the whole race but missed 5th gear and the Teggie got by me. And that's only drag racing. In any race that involves turning, stock for stock, the GSR can't keep up.
I agree that it's by no means the best car out there. But the combination of 180+ft/lbs, a helical limited slip, a stiff suspension, and a 6speed close-ratio tranny made the SE-R on of the best deals on the market when it came out (the market being under $20K sport compacts, before SRT4s and the new Civic Si). Mine only cost $17,500 with the alarm/300w Fosgate package.
And BTW, here's what mods mine has:
AEBS 4-2-1 header w/midpipe and race cat
Thermal R&D stainless catback
eBay CAI
SWA lightweight crank pulley (15oz vs 7lbs stock)
Jim Wolf Technology Balance Shaft Removal Kit
A'PEXi SAFC2, dyno tuned
Progress springs
NISMO adjustable rear sway bar
RS Limited Concept Pro 17x7 wheels
225/45-17 Wanli S-1099 tires (yeah, I roll cheap tires on the street!)
Before the JWT BSR kit, I dynoed at 167whp/173ft-lbs. I should be about 173whp/180ft-lbs now. I get 24/30mpg.

Aww thats sad. My parents didnt pay for any of it actually. That's the first thing dumb kids always say.Originally Posted by TransAxle

dude why is evryone fighting? o and spec v scott, ur car looks great. man my friend has a 03 spec and it is stock, he smoked a prelude with headers inatke and exhaust. he also kept up with the a srt4. the sentra spec v is a awsome deal for the price. i HAD a wrx with intake and turbo back exhaust my friend with headers intake and exhaust kept up with me, he was about 2 or 3 car lenghts behind me but kept up. but the wrx it totaled now. (if any of u are wondering how it happend. my tire blew and took me into a tree) now im back with my spec v and loving it
damn, all i wanted to know is if anyone else out there was driving a SER. Not to start a fight.
The qr motor has PLENTY of parts out for it too...i know, because i have them...its just we dont have 16 different brands putting out the same damn parts.
Yep sry everyone i am done arguing!
It's funny to start drama on IA.
Honestly, I dont know much about car shows, but Im pretty sure 1439/2000's car dirty as hell would get more ooooo's and aahhh's at a car show, rather then a riced out sentra. + he could blow your brakes off on the way to and from the car show.
wow what a dumb fuck. I hope hope to god that a turboed car alot lighter than mine, would beat the hell out of my NA that has half the HP to the wheels like his. If he didnt hten that would just be a sad thing. But on the other hand for shows i would be pretty sure my car done out for shows would blow his car out of the water.Originally Posted by TheSnail

Ok? I understod1/2 of that. But on the serious note. His car would probably get more points then yours. Im not hating on sentras, I had one. Im hating on you, eversince you started acting like you got sand in your vagina.
who the fuck are you and when did i MYSELF start his whole flame war first. 1439/2000 came into the NISSAN forum with his GALANT (NON NISSAN) and starts flaming my car. SO why dont you go EAD, and stop with the whole drama.
It all started from here.
I stayed quite for a couple of pages, then I spoke. Its fine with me to end any drama. But you dont need to get upset so easy. Thats 3/4ths the reason them two were fucking with you. They found your weakspot and wanted to push your buttons.Originally Posted by TransAxle

They did'nt bash your car until you said something. So dont say anything and they wont bash your car.
i read krucial's quote and was about to reply about the same things on numbers 1 and 2. i've only race a gsr once, and it wasn't a loss.Quote:

I've never raced an NA integra. I'm assuming I'd win.
Then again I don't have a spec-v.
I still think that TransAxle should just give me his transmission.
big bad 13b what happen to u i have not seen that car in a while is it still around or are they old pic
Eddie the only reason i called him that was becuase he said that i thought my car was rwd and told people that!Originally Posted by coolZero
