just curious to see what set up they are running fuel, boost, etc
. there are a number of kits out there for the spec, few of which
    have an extablished reputation.

D@mn, those first pics make me miss my old 04 Spec-V. That car was fun as hell.

For all the B15 SE-R/Spec-V guys, www.thevboard.com is a nice place with some useful info and stuff. Nice rides guys, keep up the good work. I hope to see some of you on the road sometime.

Besides the torque steer and spinning you would have had alot more fun with it. You could have put down around 350 ish.

Its been a while since i sold it, i forgot the reason i never went over 305,i remember it overheating alot,if mahdavi had built the motor im sure i could have made more hp,but yea,4 years ago it smoked everything i raced on the street. it was fun,i even had 6 point roll cage in it at 1 point.not alot of people were boosting back then.

I was boosting a ga16 b13 Sentra 4 years ago. ( champane one, with black primered hood, grey primered fender). It looked like ass, but it was turbo. Then I sold the turbo kit I made to some guy in FL, and then I supercharged the sentra. Blew the fucker up and gave it to the Salvation army.

Snail I heard about that story of someone that tried to supercharge a sentra. Was it because you couldn't control the boost?

No, it did not "realy" blow up. Boost was an issue, but what happend is I forgot to diconect the stock breather valve hose that runs to the intake pipe. So when I cranked it up and the sc hit 1.5bar at 2800rpm, it pressurized the valve cover and oil passages and it poped out the rear main seal. My parents were giving it to the salvation army one week later, so I did not bother to take off the tranny, pop the seal back in order to drive a beatup sentra for 5-6 more days. That was the only engine I was scared to stand over and rev. All you heard is the supercharger scream from running 8X it max efficency.

Thats a broad statement. Spec-v is different then the OG se-r. If you ask me, Spec-v's should of never been given that title.

SE-R and the spec-v are nice but they just don't pull like others, ok...for example, one of the cons about it is the redline, the 6 speed mt is cool but the gearing sucks ass, the variable valve timing on the spec-v is ok but what good is it if you can only ride it for like 1k rpm when it engages, the redline is too close, then the aftermarket parts, not a big selection. I have driven a 2002 Sentra SE-R Spec-V and up against a stock integra gsr, the gsr pulled all day long on a one-on-one stop, 20mph roll, and 60mph drop. Sorry, not ragging on the sentras, just my opinion on those, I don't have all the knowledge as of you guys but just my first hand experience. And no the '02 se-r is not the only one I have driven.

Se-r and specv whatever. Yeah b15's are slow

The old B13 and B14 se-r rev to 7500 and are way more fun to drive and handle way better.

And Transaxle what the hell are you talking about? Many out voice the opinions of one?

Your car is slow and the other turbo b13 and b14 se-r's are cooler than yours. Everybody agrees.

No Half i am not selling my car, so kinda pointless to buy the transmission, and yes its a 5spd. Also 1439/2000 who gives a fuck what you think or anyone else. I love my car, and i could give to shits if it was slow as hell, to me its fast enough and its gets me where i am going. My car is being built for show and not go, yes it will get some go parts but will mostly be set for show. So who gives a fuck what YOU think. I have had tons of compliments on my car, and have had people say it looks like shit. But really they only people who sit there and bash someone elses car, probably really is just jealous about it. i have met your dumbass in at meets and such and seen your car. It may be something rarely seen, but to me it looks like a fucking legend with some gold rims on it. Also it looks like mommy an daddy pay for most of your shit for you. SO EAD and becuase i could give two shits what you think about my car!

Do you really think of all the cars ive owned I'm jealous of a stock b15 sentra?

    1) the variable valve timing is CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE. The switchover at 5000rpms is the dual-stage intake manifold opening up the short runners

    2) There is plenty of after market for the 02+ SE-Rs. Pretty much every bolt-on that's available for the average import is available for the SE-R. It's not on the Honda Civic/CRX/Integra scale, but it's pretty expansive (for an example, I think there are at least 6 different companies making qr25de headers)

    3) the gear ratios were revised after 02. The only time I've lost to an Integra was the first month I owned my SE-R...I lead the whole race but missed 5th gear and the Teggie got by me. And that's only drag racing. In any race that involves turning, stock for stock, the GSR can't keep up.

I agree that it's by no means the best car out there. But the combination of 180+ft/lbs, a helical limited slip, a stiff suspension, and a 6speed close-ratio tranny made the SE-R on of the best deals on the market when it came out (the market being under $20K sport compacts, before SRT4s and the new Civic Si). Mine only cost $17,500 with the alarm/300w Fosgate package.

And BTW, here's what mods mine has:

AEBS 4-2-1 header w/midpipe and race cat
    Thermal R&D stainless catback
    eBay CAI
SWA lightweight crank pulley (15oz vs 7lbs stock)
