Yes if you want it to blow up. LS stroke is longer that GSR.

ask patrick4588 about an ls crank in a gsr block..i think as long as you use the right rods you are safe...patty had i think gsr rods and pistons met head and resulted in broken skirts!

    2 people missinformed

ls crank and rods will go in just fine..... oil squirters will hit rods so they will need to be deleted or bent.

gsr rods will not go on ls crank

i have forged gsr internals in my turbo ls

ls crank and rod bump up compression

no the RODs are different so the Rod BEARINGS will not work.

Mains i dont think work either.

    GSR/ITR mains the same
    B16/LS mains are the same

you can use the mains as they are the same as ls.... but the crank is different on the rod journals they are different..... you cant use gsr rods on a ls crank...... you will need to get ls rod bearings and use either gsr or ls mains... no biggie... acls are like 30bux at your door

a bearing set is different than mains.... the reason they are grouping is because of the rod journal difference,,,,

that was the problem i ran into when i built my motor.

the bearing sets were different but the part numbers for the gsr mains and ls mains are the same....

i had to get my bearings separately and it cost a bit more since i ordered just rod bearings and main bearings.... the thrust washers are the same too

yeah 94ej2 get it right or get out! this is pro talk im using B18c1 block yeah thats right with a B18b1 crank AND RODS AND uh oh PISTONS = sleeper ls v :] and thanks you guys i matched up the gsr rod bearing on the ls rods and yea they are smaller bc the ls rods are thicker and better but the mains are the same they did line up the same so i just gotta get rod bearings.

should i spend the 30 bux on ls rod bearings or stick with the gsr crank and rods and just put the ls pistons on that? witch would cost 40 to get the pressed
i mean i have both setups..

why would you want to use LS Pistons?

If you are going boost run GSR Pistons strong ringlands and good compression

if you want to stay NA run B16 pistons for mid 11s compression
