car steering wheel shakes a lot when i try to brake, it feels like the car is going to go out of control like the steering wheel vibrates left and right a lot... it's not the wheels and tires cause they are new and balanced... any idea?

It's that rear bumper lol.
No really though, get new pads and rotors.
most likely rotors, let us know what you find...
Yea just go to the auto parts store and have them turned...get new pads at the same time...its like 20 a rotor to have them turned

under braking definately sounds like rotors. had the same problem on my wifes cavalier
i agree its the rotors. brakes 101
in for rotors. i don't care if they're new. if it only happens when you're braking then it should be a no-brainer.
I don't suggest wasting your money on having them turned. Check prices first. A lot of times you'll have just as much in new rotors as it would cost to turn them. Depending on how warped they are, having them turned might just thin them out and cause them to warp even quicker.
sounds like rotors to me as well,

i'll take some pics tomorrow of the rotors and brakes.. im prob leaning towards the axles cause the rotors and brakes are kinda new and i don't drive hard so i don't expect them to be warped yet.

ive run into many 530 pm brake jobs and get everything together and drive it with exactly what your describing. just because they are new doesnt mean that they arent warped! now i cut every new rotor 6-8 thousandths on each side and you would be surprised how many times you get a skip! go turn the rotors!![]()
yes...they just can't take as much on each pass(i.e. takes longer)
and get blanks...they are safer and its proven that the CD/slots are more cosmetic than anything.
