Default Trunk Flooding makes my carpet soaked??

OK i have a 95 Integra coupe, since it has been raining like hell, i noticed my carpet in my car has been soaked. I looked in my trunk and there is a puddle of water where my spare tire is after every time it rains I have had this car for 2 1/2 years and this never happened b4. I have no clue how rain gets inside my trunk, nothing else in the car gets wet but somehow water accumulates were the spare is?? So im assuming that the water swishing around and goes forward under my carpet and soaks through? Hope somebody can tell me how the hell to fix this b/c im ready to drill a damn hole in my trunk asap!

Hmm.....maybe this is a sign that i need to do my black interior swap????

Is your trunk aligned? Same shit happens to my buddy. He has a 4dr integra. It doesn't get that much wet though, and his trunk isnt aligned at all lol.

We saw you on grayson hwy the other day, you should come to the meet in front/back of the car wash on grayson. We hold it on fridays.

hey man .i actually had the same problem, happened to me when i first had the car and i had a leak that pooled up in the tire well. and then as or recently with all the rain, it happened again, this time worse and soaked my whole interior.

the reason it happened was cause of the gaskets on the back of the tail light housings were shot. rotten in places so it let water come through. check your tail light gaskets. thats more then likely the culprit. what happened to you is the same thing that happened to me.

suck it up! lol. wont take long, just take the back the trim off the back covering the tail light screws, if it is it you'll see trails of water comming down forom the lights as well as water probably pulled up a little bit around the holes to the housings.

it should be the problem, thats atleast what the case with mine was i would see your's being any different. there still being water in the air and what have you should still be able to see traces of it.

im sure it can. it would probably depend on where it was broken though. cause the only reasno its leakin on mine and 1cleans situation is cause there is an opening behind the trim to the wheel well.

ya, loosen the bolts just to where you can barely move the trunk around....shut the trunk and close it to where it lines up good. Lift trunk slow and carefully and have someone on both sides tighten at the same time. Close trunk and make sure it goes back where you had it...if not repeat, its a bitch lining up panels and shit.

I may come meet up with you guys in grayson...when was that again?
