Anything above a 50 shot, a tune would be recommended. I believe the timing should be retarded by 1-1.5 every 50 shot of nitrous too. I'm not sure 100% about the internal work with pistons, rings etc but I do know that I'm running 10.5:1 compression CP pistons and I believe my ring gap is set to have a little extra space too; which explains why my motor burns about a 1 QT of oil every 1K miles.

    LOL ..
The timing calculation isn't really accurate, but for that little amount of nitrous, that calculation should be up to par.
