    I dont know ya, but I have a 2000 CBR600F4 and its a great bike, Its fast, pretty lite, and you can probably pick one up pretty cheap now. I would suggest that or an F4i. I i really like the Hondas they make a great bike.
    Oh and I agree if you can avoid it try not to lower a bike, it can really mess up the handling of a bike.

    Here's a picture of mine from when i got it. It look different now, but you get the idea.
