i had a car charging at 15.5 volts and the tester said it was good. now the one camary i tested with it that was charging at 46 volts it realized that was too high. And yes, i did say 46 volts. i ducked next to the car telling them to turn it off bc i didnt know that was possible. lol!!!
when i got to autozone, i turned off the car and tried to crank it back up so i didnt look like a dumbass if they asked me to crank it up.

the tester showed 13.8V
