Car Alarm

My girlfriend has a 98 Honda Civic and I wanted to know how to reset the factory alarm. The keypad still works since the little red light still comes on. If it matter, the car originally came stock with the cassette player but the original owner put in a factory honda cd player. Thanks.

As weird and as GM-esque it was of honda, the factory alarm/keyless entry system on those year models was run through the factory cd player/cassette deck

If the factory honda cd player that was swapped in did not come with the proper plug, then you probably won't be able to get the factory keyless to work.
