    I think LS and GSR trans both say S80 but i could be wrong.

    What rpm do u sit at in 5th gear at about 80?

    I think an

    LS= 3500rpms at 80mph
    GSR= 4000rpms at 80mph
    B16= 4400rpms at 80mph
    TOO BIG

    S80,Y21,Y80 or SC4 is 97-01 ITR, 95-97 ITR, 92-97 SiR CTR. S80 and Y80 also can be 94-01 GSR or jdm 93.5 half year to 01 SiR/SiG and also s80 can be US 94+ LS/GS and JDM 98-01 ITR with lower 4:78 final drive and .787 5th gear as compared to USDM 4:40 final drive with a .848 5th gear. if you pull out both axles and can see straight through or there is no bar running through the hole in side to block view it lsd installed or type r and case will be stamped on front as well. i have USDM ITR and my rpms with a 17" wheel is @ around 3500 @ 55-60 mph. got all this from the book so maybe it can help others and i have the gear ratios from 1st-5th as well.
