sometimes it takes a little longer for a self-learning ECU to figure out new parts/sensors, so that could explain the higher idle.

the first thing i would do, is swap the O2 sensor(s) and see what happens. i know my car has a bad one and i get a CEL on and off. it used to surge until i advanced the timing wayyy up
