Personally I just kinda wait for stuff on my s13 to break, then replace it with something better lol. I bought my s14 wrecked for $900.. my idea was fix the front end for about $700 and have a running S14 for under $2k, which would have been a good idea...

... but then I found the KILLER deal on the s15 front conversion, and my "gotta have it" kicked in and I spent $2000 on the S15 conversion, bodykit, cf hood and trunk, and a 96 240sx SE parts car.

.... Then I realized that fixing the car was way out of my ability, so I took her up to Sprayglo Duluth. They hooked me up doing the conversion/body kit install/body smoothing, but that doesn't change the fact that I dropped another $2400 there.

... got her out of the bodyshop unpainted, drove her around for about 3 weeks, KABOOM the engine took a ****. My fault.. the water pump was bad, and it was kind of ridiculous of me to think that a car wrecked that badly in the front hadn't sustained some sort of accessory injury.

I wanted to be unique, too... LSx (corvette) motors were unique but expensive, 2JZ's cost about 10k just to get in and running, and that's a stock 2JZ. RB25 and RB26 are pricey, but also a nissan motor and have been done before. RB20 is just a retarded swap to do, everyone has an SR20.. hmmmmm...

I was rocking out with my friends to Ice Ice Baby (don't ask... inebriation does amazing things) and the idea came to me quite by accident. We were singing, and he said "Rollin.. in my 5.0 with my ragtop down so my hair can blow" and my friend Ben was like "BAHAHAHA You should so put a 5.0 in your 240. That would be cool as hell."

    I agreed.

Spent another $1300 on a 1987 mustang GT with 62000 miles on it.

By now, my car had been down a really long time, and I needed a daily driver.

Spent $1200 on Lucy, my 1991 s13 hatchback.

While waiting for Killswitch to get the engine pulled, I came across an awesome deal on a pair of suede sparco milano seats... another $600 down the drain. Also bought wheels... another $900 in.

Killswitch hasn't even started to put together an estimate on doing the 5.0 swap, but between the swap, and the custom driveshaft, I'm probably gonna be in the $2000 range.

So long story short, my car doesn't even run right now and I have about $10k into it.

And the REALLY disgusting thing? If not for sponsors, I'd probably be in about $15k - $17k.

Moral of the story... it's easy to dump a LOT of money into these cars.
Remember that time that dumbass put a 5.0 into her 240 like a complete idiot. Oh yeah that was you.

Remember that time that chick didn't give a flying fvck what other people thought, and did things because she wanted to?

Oh yeah that was me too.

Fuck stance. Stance is for kids in skinny jeans with Justin Beiber haircuts. You don't need stance when you got swagger.
