The problem is that the MAF measures all incoming air and if you release that air via a BOV of any type your not going to have the amount of air coming to the MAF that it thinks there will be. I guess to answer your question splitting the air half recirc half atmosphere you have LESS of a chance of getting a CEL than running a normal BOV from what i can tell.

But do you really wanna run that risk when the car was made for a DV? Or are you just a ricer who likes to hear a WHHHHOOOOOOSHHH sound

definately not a ricer, i already get a small amount of sound from running an intake. my car is chipped and i need something better than the factory dv, b/c as we all know they are no good with running higher boost. thanks for the input though, b/c i hate a CEL. bugs the living **** out of me
