I know how "hearsay" is, but word on da skreet is that if Mitsubishi findes out that your car has been involved in any kind of timed event (dragstrip, autoX, road course) your warranty will be void. Again, this is just something I have heard...

Subaru did the same thing, dealerships browsing the forums and websites finding the people making the claims were signed up on autocross and track events (and seeing the the results)...claiming to void the warranty.

Yeah, thats what I heard. Something about Suburu that I thought was pretty scandolus was that when you buy an STI, they give you a year membership to the SCCA to sucker you in. Do you know if thats true too?

Makes sense right, sell a track bred street car, essentially a streetable track car with performance tires and parts then void the warranty if it's used for what it was intended for, lol.

WRONG. subaru gives scca memberships to ppl who buy stis... the WANT you to autox.
