+1 to all the above. I would recommend putting it on a timer or wiring it to the a power source on the ecu. I had forgotten to turn mine off several times and that can be a pain!

now that is what I'm talking about. Thanks everyone. I am going to get the volt meter tomrorow and check both fan switches. I really doubt that both switches are out but who knows. That thermo switch, is that the same thing as the fan timer under the dash.
93 lude did you have a have a JDM H22A and also if I went with wiring the fans to the switch what does the timer look like from Radio Shack.
The fans on a 93 Accord only ran when the engine was warm enough to need them. I know from personal experience, having a half-dead F22 Accord sitting downstairs in a garage that died of over-exertion and a bent piston rod. Anyways, if the fans don't run at all ensure that the relay is linked up to the control switch properly and that the control switch is actually working. That's the major thing that would be wrong with what you're describing. I'm gonna go ahead and assume you're using a stock H22 ECU?
If you haven't already, I really recommend dropping by http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=5423
That's the swap FAQ for CB7tuner.com. You should consider making a post over there too, the guys know a ton about early 90's accords, and alot of them are running H-swaps in their rides, so they've heard all the stories.
CB7tuner is what helped me with my swap and I already have a post up over there as we speak. Brief background, I have never driven this car. I bought the car with a dead battery so I could not test anything. So I don't even know if the fans ever worked properly. Is the fan control switch under the dash and what does this timer look like at radio shack?
Any info on the switch from Radio Shack.
yes and some new info the upper radiator hose water neck goin into the head doesn't have a fan temp switch on it you can probaly take one off a h23 and it should plug up and run the fan automaticly.... i will let you know if that works when i do it and when i wired the fan i also wired my ac fan to the same switch so it kinda helps when i get out it is load as hell
NO NWS
I actually swapped upper radiator necks and used the F22 water neck and was able to use that particular fan switch.Originally Posted by 93ludew/h22a
Considering I have never driven this car let alone with the swapped finished. I am going to wire the fans to the switch and just let them come on with the switch. I appreciate the help, Thanks
I thought I was tired of driving a manual in Atlanta traffic, but I pretty sure that I am going to do a tranny swap for the manual.
