Dual Stage Vtec?

A friend said that it's impossible cuz vtec doesn't engage twice after engaged...

This guy is wrong, there is a dual stage vtec.

Another said yeah, but it's called the butterfly setup, having to do something with your intake system...

This guy is right, there's a butterfly in your intake manifold that opens up or something at a certain RPMs..
