well, its already a nice low cruiser....only part missing from that is a nice set of wheels, but i dont really care...

And, as far as ''opt''ing for the different engine...the cirumstances sorta didnt allow me to choose between engines, because i immediately needed another car to replace my corolla as a DailyDriver...and we ran into the pontiac and swooped it up for $500

And, i dont mind extra maintenence...and as far as repairs go? Exactly what kind of repairs are we talkin about??

You don't have to go aftermarket for nice wheels. I just upgraded from factory SE wheels to GT and made a world of difference. And for only $250 for wheels and tires.

Turbos and systems are high maintenance and require constant(pretty much) supervision. Plus on an Ecotec, you probably need to redo all the internals. Of course I'm not telling you what to do, but from a practical viewpoint, I wouldn't put that kind of money in that car. Hail, if you want to upgrade HP, do IHE and a pulley and bigger carb and call it a day. Later, QD.

Well, its strange though...everywhere i keep on reading that my block can only handle 4psi un-tuned and still be reliable... They also say, that i can run up to 7psi on my stock block and still have it reliable...with a GOOD tune...

So, im not 100% sure if it'd be worth it or not...4 - 7psi would get me about how much extra power...??

i think it would be worth it.but not if your buying a 3000.00 turbo kit.you can peice one together for a lot less just because its not all the same brand does not make it junk.
i know you have a pontiac and im talkin about a honda but my old ef with a zc swap and 7psi put down right at 200whp with a very mild tune, stock the motor at the flywheel was i think 125hp to the ground maybe 95-100hp so look at the gains..with tuning i might have had 550.00 in the kit oh and i ran a very small t25 turbo thats what i would reccomend for you if you do it, if not that then a little t3. good luck being different people always get shot down for being different

Well, that WOULD be nice to do, except, i dont know what ALL the pieces are that i need to get...I do have a list of stuff that i can get my hands on from j-body.org, but, it doesnt include ALL the parts that i'll need. I would still need a bit of assistance with gatherin everything...(And, i think i wanna run non-intercooled because, theres no GOOD spot on my car to mount the cooler up on)
