    that goes to show how overlyexcessive we as americans are when we think a car with 30k miles is just breaking in lol...

    No, the Japanese are smart. Have laws making it very expensive to renew an old car, or go out and buy a new JAPANESE MADE automobile. This boosts their economy.

    And increases thier waste. It also makes owning an auto harder and out of reach for a lot more people. Not all of Japan has the great mass transit systems of tokyo.

    The republicans would love to do that here also.

    I would think it shows how overly excessive THEY are by junking a perfectly good car or motor. How does that make us excessive by continuing to use a perfectly good motor?

    Thats pretty wasteful on thier part. Then again, they aren't exactly known for thier lack of waste.
