I got 5 in my family. But one is a vegetarian and my boy won't eat anything unless it's pizza, chicken nuggets or doritos. So really just two adults and one child. I've got some chips and salsa, wife's gonna make up some fresh guacamole in the morning. Plus a couple bags of other chips depending on who wants to munch on what.

Plus some sirloin steak.

Oh, and I've some 36 Yeunglings chilling in the cooler... Well 34 now to be precise.

Deer is in brine. I will have me and my daughter and maybe a buddy from work. Bringing about 5 lbs of deer meat. 2 tenderloins and the rest is chunk/stew style meat. May throw that in the crock pot tonight. Not sure how that will fare in the smoker. Once it thawed I realized it was smaller chunks of meat. Either way it will blow our minds!

So I pulled the trigger and made a stew with about 2 lbs of deer. 95% of the ingredients came from my parents farm in Cleveland GA. This will be the best deer stew you have ever layed your tongue upon.

Deer, beer and bullets... Not a bad way to spend and afternoon. Big ups to D3US3S for not only bringing the deer, but showing up super early so we'd have enough time to smoke the meat properly. And that stew was insanely good.
