yeah, good video to get an idea of what the roads are like...also a good example of how NOT to drive up there. a whole pack of cars driving like that would be pulled over and ticketed if a cop saw...it also makes passing for the quicker bikes quite dangerous. MAINTAIN YOUR LANE, probably the #1 ticket up there...

you go up there to ride the curves anyway, not straighten them out...just think about it; sure its fastest to take the straightest line, but going fast just leads to trouble. ride in the lane and you can still pull some hard g's side-to-side at lower speeds, you can still hit your marks and have fun...and hey, if you f up, you have extra lane JUST IN CASE, just remember to check mirrors!

But yeah, chuck knows what he is talking about, I almost got nailed up there by a Porsche that was on my side of the road once, so remember to stay withing the lines. Oh yeah heres a few efsquad runs last year. These are mostly of blood mountain but there are a few clips coming from dahlonega and one through suches as well, I was leading through most but you can barely see me sometimes lol. These are to help a little if you dont know the route. Also if the leaves have fallen a good bit then i advise not to run like a raped ape, you will prob slip on the leaves.

As soon as I was able to drive that was the one weekend I made sure to LEAVE the area, not go to it lol!

I'm sure they'd love to have 30+ extra cars in the Gold Rush Parade though, if you're a lucky one in a convertible you can drive around the years beauty pagent contestants. Teeth not included.

why do people think this is so stupid?? or is everyone up there that weekend just tards in your opinioin?? i've called it a parade about 20 posts ago, i've explained light pace, i've explained that we will probably be on a road with tons of peoples...2 hours lunch break in helen...this will be no fly through and be gone before they know what hit 'em....SLOW PACED MTN RUN for anyone else who wants to skim the thread and tell us we are stooopid. if someone is suprised when we get there i'm going to roll their car down the mtn...lol...BIGGGGG JK, lol
