    Default A real knee slapper

Got a joke for you!!!! There is a small shop called Slow Eastern Motors in conyers ga that used to blow up sr20's like a punk shittin tube steak. This guy AKA RJ with a silver Toy corolla t28 turbo thinks he can beat my blue rx3 that ran a 9.3 on a broke motor. The race takes place at the event Oct 18th..... The funny part is that we agreed on 2hundred bucks and the looser is the next man's TRACK BITC- at the next local event "BAMA".

Oh yeah: The car is not even track ready....No seat time...wrong 2 speed trans..... No cage.....safety cut off..... or a chute...... plus The car never been pass 11sec. The track tec is going to have him for lunch. Please show up cause its going to be crazy that day if I don't get my money:idb:

I know RJ and his corolla. I also know the shop. Those are upstanding guys and they do good work. I can't speak for RJ and his car but hopefully he'll have everything worked out for the race. I guess we'll have to see on the 18th. I'm normally at most of the races so good luck to both of yall. May the lucky setup win b/c that's what's racing is about.

Well, well, well. Aren't you the modern day captain savor. I'm sorry I'm not scheduled to run that day.... He wants to run my time slip. The shop is a cool great hang out spot. My story is for those that haven't been in the 9's or 8's don't go barking or betting your light bill that your going to do something.... It could be a dark night that week. If you wanna up the pot Mr. Hero I will be glad to take your money also.

The message was for humor no disrespect to anyones shop just the owner.

Man until you go a certain et...you have no idea what it takes to get there. I am surprised somebody didnt pull him aside and enlighten him. 10s are no joke let alone low 9s where you are. 8s is a chapter that I cant afford to read bit it looks like you are about to turn to that page

Well I can't account for the manners of others but I'm more than happy to take their cash for a valuable lesson.
My car that day would have ran 8's but my track guy stated the track was not prep and slippery up top so I ran a 9.5 first past jogging. Well the motor was done for anyways so the second pass I told the wife I'm going to finish the motor for the crowd. She gave me the thumbs up so fuck it. I went from a mild 35psi to a never ran 45psi or 50psi and if you where there you saw the bottom of my car a bent wheelie bar then at the 8th the motor lockup and I coasted 9.3 at 168.

I aint got time to play with a boy that got his first swap and thinks it a race car.

Are you talking about IFO in Montgomery last November? That's when you bent the wheelie bar.

Yeah I'm not able to go to every track day like I would like to with crazy work schedules. Being a father/husband and building two cars plus maintaining the home and other daily drivers we drive. Things have priorities my way. But my toys are always ready for battle for a small amount of

We should do a rotary v.s. pistons match one day. Or V6 v.s. 4bangers. Or bring the V8's to run the imports heads up.
