    Mazda 6 and those newer engines ......never ever ever take the crank pulley off...If you do you would have to re time the engine which is a pain in the azz...and if you dont can you say Bent valves!

    if your taking the head off you always start from the center an work your way out cris cross pattern....and those are torqued alot...will take a good breaker bar!
