Maybe I should get a Honda!
I don't usually ask questions on my build because nobody really follows Toyotas.
Then again, my questions aren't about how low I should make my car, what wheels I should run, or how to squeeze more HP with boltons...

Stephen - SCC was the best magazine out and it was sad to see it come to an end. I also found Dsport is a good one as well. Super Street and the current Import Tuners are garbage. Hell, 98% of the stuff on the shelf today isn't worth reading.

Helicoils are perfectly fine to leave in there if you've had a spark plug blow out. Lots of drag racers will go ahead and do all 8 just so they dont have to worry about it.
Did you fill the coolant from the metal crossover tube? Believe its a 1/4 ratchet that removes it. If it wont budge then notch it with a grinder and use a hammer and screwdriver.

Okay cool. I will try that. Apparently, the overflow tank expanded and caused a stress crack which leaked. Replaced that and still had a backing up problem so I replaced the thermostat. Finally got the leak contained and now it decided to start leaking again. Guess I can unscrew that to vent it as well.
So the axle nut is actually requires a male 17 mm socket, so I'm screwed for tonight as far as that. I moved on to removing the battery and tray, the shifter cables, shifter brackets, slave cylinder line, and about to remove the starter.
VW seems to use every freakin' size socket, but I've narrowed most of it down to 13, 16, 17, and 18 mm sockets.
