For a straight-to-DVD movie, this was fucking fantastic.
^lol.
Dominos seemed like a good gig, though. Where you going to work now?
Oh, and the miata's alive again. New engine and clutch feel fantastic. Still need to adjust the clutch pedal to kill the freeplay, but it's much more responsive. Babying and breaking it in sucks though. 50mph to 30 to 50 to 30 to 50 to 30. Gaaaaaay.
so i had a thought whilst looking at my wheels today... to polish.. or not to polish.. what ya think? Quick Photoshop:

Just for the record, I love your Sausage!!! Booyah!!!:boobies:
On a side note - Fuck Home Depot!
Why the hell do I even go to Home Depot??? I went there looking for a 1/8 NPT fitting to weld in my oil pan for the temp sensor. I go to the plumbing section and ask the "Professional" if he has any 1/8 NPT fitting made of steel so I can weld one into my oil pan. Of course he says no. He then proceed to try to sell me an air chuck fitting that screws into an air tool to hook up the air hose. I have no fucking idea where he was going with that but of course I said I don't think that gonna work. I then asked him if he had any 1/8 NPT taps so I can make a fitting out of Steel Plate and weld that to the pan, he says sure do! He walks me over to the drill bit wall in the tool section and hands me a standard 1/8 tap, which is way too goddamn small. Where in the hell do they get these people?
So after smacking myself for being a moron and even thinking about Home Depot I drive directly to Gilroy's Got It on Hwy 74 and within 5 minutes have both a 1/8 NPT coupling AND a 1/8 NPT tap in case I wanna try to make my own.

But paint polish is funWho wants some :P
anyone elses mother drive them insane? We are trying to find a car for my mom with a budget of roughly $5k give or take some. She wants an automatic wagon in that price range. She fell in love with the most unreliable car in her range, a 2000 passat wagon.............Thank god the previous owners wouldnt come down from their price even though it needed a timing belt and tires because then my parents would have bought it. I recommend a Subaru Legacy wagon because subarus are more reliable than a VW, what does she say? "The are ugly and look like something that goes off road." But on top of that, she herself admitted 2 weeks ago they didnt look bad and she proceeded to try to find as many as she could. She fails to realize how much of a lemon VW's are and is now moping around because she wont get a VW, acting like a little kid if you ask me.
ARGH.
x10 on the Subie!!! A Minivan wont work? You need the Volvette!
The Shitbox
She wants something more car like, we tried to convince her on a van, but as of late has been very picky and been like a little kid on what she wants. She sees one thing than focuses all her attention on finding others just like it (like a passat wagon/a4-a6 wagon.) She saw a volvo s70 last night also, and she fell in love with that car too, and because it was significantly out of our price range, she pouted that they didnt finance it. She wants to avoid a car note, yet she wants wine tastes on a beer budget.
I understand! How are the Volvo wagons? There seem to be quite alot in the 5k - 6k range.

Protege5 FTW?? lolz
I can understand being picky though. I'm being EXTREMELY picky with what I want. I'm not about to pay for a car that I don't even like. It's very unreasonable. Even if the price range is a little more than what I expected, you can always work hard for what you want and that's what I intend to do. I was about to settle for just anything before Chad explained that I'll hate myself for doing that. He's right too. Never buy something you will never like. It's the worst mistake you can make...especially with a car.
