So, the tranny is officially out.

Scary Experience #8374 of my life. I was wriggling the tranny around so I could get the diff housing twisted above the subframe when all of a sudden the tranny dropped on my chest pinning me between it and the jack. I struggled for about 15 minutes trying to push the tranny away from me and was finally able to slide down the car and free. I knew that the tranny was going to be a pain once it got free of the flywheel, but wow, I was just in a bad position at that very second.

I'm definitely going to need help putting the trans back on...

It was up in Midtown, family-friend's house. Swapping a tranny out of a Dodge Ram, fell on his upper chest, neck. suffocated him and broke his neck.
He will be missed.
