Turns out the Lexus timing is a good 20+ degrees behind on the intake. I have no idea how it was running, but it really explains why the cats were shot. I hate this car.

I just want to get rid of it so I can work on the Celica without having to rent another garage.

We can shoot for this weekend sometime. I am rebuilding a friend's Mustang all week so that will consume all of my free time. Doesn't take long to do but finding the time to do it is the issue.

BTW, you gonna wait to have money in hand before you order it or can you go ahead and order it? Would be cool to have it by Friday.

but dirty and swirly paint also slows a car down. It is rumored to increase aerodynamics by at least 5% by having your car detailed........but then again any statistic is made up.

I guess both of yall indicate my car is slow as hell. First off, it's silver and being a lighter color it becomes slow. Secondly, it's not even close to having good paint so I don't bother washing it which in turn makes it dirty.

Low and slow is how I like to keep it. :D
