This forum has got more support for the ZC than anywhere else ive ever seen LOL. They arent bad motors, its just ive never seen such a close contention between a ton of ZC and b16 EFs LOL.

personally, i thing it's GREAT that there's so many dohc ZC's on this website. they're a cheap swap and a decent upgrade from the stock engines.

although they do not allow for any room to gain significant HP besides boosting them due to their lack of aftermarket parts and they're noooo good for NA.


all in all, i love there's a little rivalry between the zc's and the b16's in the squad, but in the end motor for motor the b16 SHOULD dominate.

I agree on all points. Many years ago when i bought the d16 thats in my car i had actually planned on getting a dohc ZC and boosting it. IF i hadnt found the motor ive gotten more than likely id be a ZC head myself.

lol if the b16 isn't weaksos then it will dominate a ZC, but we've seen what happends when they are weaksos

and i'm not sure when i'm going to be able to get a test for ya. when did you want it by?
