well supposedly it's a 10 hp difference, 137hp to the crack for obd1.

also, I'm using a p29, which is the ecu that came with the obd1 ZC's. hard to get your hands on if you can find them.

i'm not sure what the difference is between obd0 and obd1 because i've never been in an obd0 zc hatch.

also i have the cable zc tranny. Ant i think you just need to ride in mine so you can see for yourself . it's a fun little car, but i'm ready for an upgrade

I have a obd1 p29 for sale if anyone wants it for 80. Good luck finding one my g/f looked for one for two years and still never found one. I bought my drag car and it had about 11 ecu in the back of it and one happen to be a p29 lol

Id say the ZC put up a fair fight with the b16! with the 20~25hp difference this is almost exactly how id expect it to end.

This dude I know had a gsr with low compression pistons and etc.,But with out his turbo he was struggling to beat mild ls hatchs. Your car sounds to still pull even with low compression.

In general obd1 maps have higher resolution and generally run smoother and have better temperature corrections etc. But overall power i doubt theres much difference unless its got more advanced timing.

i might have to convert mine to obd1 to see the difference for myself. plus i think if i had a tranny wit a little shorter gearing i might have put up a better fight. the Si tranny has really long gears.

Tony, you do remember that last time we race I had a d15b2 and a 4 spd tranny in the hatch weighing my car down and I pulled on you. Just imagine when my car has only one engine in the car.

So you was running on 2 cylinders but was able to pull on another b16 (jdmjaydc2) that was running on all 4 cylinders. thats a fishy story. Plus, you wouldn't had made it from the southside to mainstream on 2 cylinders.

Just admit that you lost and stop with the excuses.

Now that you have a larger motor than runs on "4 cylinders" now it should be a good race with my car. But if you think that you're going to smash me you're going to have a rude awakening
