not tyring to be a kill joy but, we need a limit of people going. if there is a ****t load of people we will spend all day trying to keep evryone together. last time we had a tough time keeping everyone together and there was like 12 or 13 of us.

the last reason is the cops! if there is a very large group well will draw large amounts of attention. again im not trying to be a ****k or anything,im just saying if were gonna do this lets go about it in a smart way.

Or split up into two or more smaller groups(fast, intermediate, noobies) Although everyone will think they should be in the fast group . Then have different way points that we all meet up at, etc, like for the cookout and stuff.

simple solution is to go to walmart and get walkie talkies. that way everyone in a 2mile radius can hear everyone else. and you can say watch out for traffic or cops or whatever.

^^^THIS MAY BE THE BEST SOLUTION. THE WALKIE'S MIGHT WORK TOO, BUT PERSONALLY I WILL BE TOO FOCUSED ON THE ROAD. I DONT KNOW IF U HAVE BEEN UP THERE OR NOT BUT I LIKE TO KEEP BOTH HANDS ON THE STEERING WHEEL, I DONT SEE SOMEONE TRYING TO TELL EVERYONE A COP IS COMING UP OR BEHIND IN THE MIDLE OF A HAIRPIN ON 180.

THE BEST IDEA WOULD TO HAVE MULTIPLE GROUPS AND HAVE A LEADER FOR EACH GROUP. I WANT EVERYONE TO HAVE FUN AND GO HOME WITH THERE CAR IN THE SAME CONDITION IT CAME UP.

ALSO PLEASE DONT COME UP THERE WIT BALD AS$ TIRES WANTING TO RUN IN THE FAST GROUP OR AT ALL FOR THAT.

If you're new, all due respect, run with the slower group. Not at all to down or doubt your driving skills, but the EF Squad "keeps it real" up there. The fast group travels fast (at least...the did when I lead). Let them get to know you, if they don't already know you. And let them see you know how to drive. If you ARE new to the mountains, please please PLEASE run with the group as I've seen too many cars up there coming out that are fairly nice cars and they go flying off the mountain or in a ditch or something. 2 over the edge, 1 in a ditch, and several spinning out in my time JUST from my groups that I've personally witnessed up there. One of them being myself.

I heard someone say...trackday? Still awaiting orders, ya'll! I'll keep you posted...

Oh, and about the walkies...if you get walkies, great idea, but get the ones with the longest distance. Just cuz the package says 12miles doesn't mean you'll get even 6... And also, for the "two hands on the wheel," that's why I always had a "date" ride with me. Or, you can always just hit the "call" button. One quick tap, and your hand is back on the wheel. If your hand can't let go for that quick second, you shouldn't be up there, anyways...

Im debating going on this one. But please folks if you wanna be stupid, ride people's bumpers, pass on yellows or generally act like an idiot please stay home. We were able to keep this to a minimum on the last run. There is no sense in ruining everybody's time because you think its a race.
