Before you start bashin' my car, let me explain a couple things to some of you.

First, the Z3 fenders drew alot attention so we'll start with why I ditched the stock ones and went to these because when I was 16 or 17 (not sure which) I had cheap ass tires on it (this was before I started working on it) and they detreaded and ripped off the front driver's side fender. That weekend, I was departing atlanta to drive cross country to Arizona. I needed something quick, so I turned to a shop I was dealing with and just grabbed 'em for better gas mileage than to not have a fender there at all (which leaves a huge pocket for collecting air) It never crossed my mind back then to swing by salvage and grab a fender from there.

Second, you called out the "TypeR" in my username. Back when I was 17, I started on honda-tech as "JokerTypeR" having in my plans to do a type R swap to the EF chassis. I later opted against the engine and to swing for something more reasonable, but the name just stuck. I didn't wanna have six names on several different sites, so I just kept the name. The engine I'm getting will be explained in the next few paragraphs.

Third, you called out the fact it's not a true EF9. Someone's been doing research, you are correct. The front fenders never went back to stock because I've opted to do a full JDM swap to the front. Why has it not already been done? I'm working on doing the interior. It was stripped, and I'm working on putting things back IN it now. The front seats have been replaced to the CRx SiR front seats imported from Japan. And so forth I continue changing the blue/navy into graphite/gray. Then I will move to the exterior, and then the engine.

Fourth, the "TypeR" that you've been calling out from my name is no more. I'm currently planning out how exactly I want the GSR engine built to be put in by yours truly. For the moment, it sits with a D15B2, which I use to learn the dynamics, and abilities of my car as well as how it handles and so forth.

Fifth, QD, you call out how I've been stupid and made mistakes in my past from speeding and so forth. You don't get it, do you...some people learn from their actions. It took me more time than most, but I learned from my past. Geez, kid, get off my back. Why you just comin' in here to call people out anyways? It gets old. I know you won't stop though, so that's a lost battle.

Sixth, there IS a club called Jokers Audio, it's mostly compiled of a bunch of Mexicans. I garuntee it wasn't my dog that bit you. My dog is the only dog we'd bring to a show. She weighs in at 160lbs, and she's almost pure-bred English Mastiff. She doesn't know how to "nip" or "nibble" on people. She only knows how to bite.

Finally, I don't know who's been giving out neg rep points (I don't even know how to) but eh...sorry to whomever's gotten 'em...it's not me. But do us (and by that, I mean my club) a favor and take it easy? We're trying to promote something good (the S.A.D.D. show).

Oh, yeah, and as for me calling people out, I was extremely tired and pissed off from a rough day. Excuse that callout, however I'm always up for a mtn run, and do so frequently. Would be glad to have you along, as I haven't gone for some time so I could get some work done to the front end of my car.

    I...think I covered everything?

I'm not trying to start any fights here...just promote a growing club of several different interests.

Oh...and to anyone who DID call out my primered civic, I hope to see you at the track this spring. I'll be making few and far between meets, but I will be at a few amateur-league events. The Civic has already taken a C5 Zo6 in the mtns in a turn, as well as run with a Lotus Elise and Ferrari 355 F1 in the same run, and I have yet to find more than about 2 cars that can outhandle it in the turns. Don't take this as a callout, just a rep for my car.

    Thanks.

Oh, one last thing. About the decals. I have one club decal on the back, one "support our troops" decal on the back, and a Skunk2 and honda-tech on the side. None are crazy colored or huge, and unlike several ricers, I actually do have Skunk2 in my car. I'm just a fan of their products all around. Nothing big. I actually do hate rice. Hence why I'm working on losing the two pieces that are on there that ARE rice...the Z3 fenders.

    Thanks again.
Ya know what? This post right here has completely changed my mind about you. I repped you positively for it, and I take back everything bad I said you. I look forward to seeing the finished product.

    Thanks for the rep point.

Mmm...I can't say much to you Ren, as members of my club are in here. What I CAN say though, is that changes are being made. We dropped off one kid about two weeks ago. Another kid...who...to say the least, has a park bench on the back of his prelude...I've made him a changed man and he's going back to a mix of JDM and stock.

Thanks for any support, and I'm glad I could shine a different light on the topic.

    Thanks again.

Point, hell! When I rep people it gives them 19 rep points.

    LIRL at Park Bench!

Good luck with the club, and I hope more people in the club are like you. If there are I think you will get along with us just fine.

For the moment, the only help I can ask is that you not put the club down. Otherwise, we're good to go. I wouldn't mind seeing this supra of yours, though, sounds like a toy...and I mean this applaudingly. Unfortunate for the club, I'm only VP...LoL. My anti-taste for any rice got me in some trouble, so I follow second in command with a shut mouth on their styling to their car...unless they turn to me. Them I'm like "fuck the wing, fuck the fiber, fuck the...." etc. Anyways, thanks for the eye-out, and I hope to see you there. I'll be there 5am til 7pm probably, with a GTG going on at Wild Wings after that. You're welcome to join up at any of it.

    Thanks again for the support.

I'm still learning how these rep points work. I don't know how to give any...hell, I don't even know if I'm allowed to yet.

The park bench...we've also called it our "trophy display" and a few other explicit names. It's kinda fun, actually. I recall once driving down the road at...say 60, and I was following. I called him from behind with something like this "Dude, pull over, your wing is shaking and vibrating, it looks like it's either about to snap or come off..." his reply "naw, it does that. It's fine."
One can only imagine what it looks like doing 90...

Anyways, thanks again for the support. I hope to get along with IA, I just know that QD and I had a...rough start, we'll call it.

And what do we mean by full-forced supra? Cause I see several meanings behind it. Along the lines of...

    Getting sideways at the track
    Handling in the mountains
    Looking good while standing still
    Raping rice from the lights
Turning heads just rolling 5mph through town
    Being built
    Several in appearance

Or all of the above, I dont' know. I know we have one more supra of your generation coming out, and I'm working on a second.

Sounds like my goal, except for the time being, going autocross instead of road race. Once the engine swap is done, it'll be both. Autocross just focuses on more of the turning and handling aspect as opposed to speed which comes with road race. Once I have the power to actually keep up with cars outside of turns, I'm down with that. Can't wait. Just time and money. More of the latter.

As for the stock-look...workin' on that, but JDM-stock...despite all my suspension work, I've managed to hide the springs (as much as possible) with black urethane (so it doesn't yell at you) rubber lines to the brakes (rear disc swap, over-sized front disc soon to come) and I can't hide the red struts. I've considered painting them. Otherwise, the other stuff you see is only cosmetic, and contributes nothing to performance. Hell, I'm still on the exhaust half the size of...well, you know. But again, I dont' NEED bigger until the engine grows. Time, sweet time.

So you have Kyb AGXs? Do you like them? Thats what I have on mine, and I can't stand them. I am thinking of getting either Omni Power or Tein full coilovers, but I have been told the Omni Powers aren't shorter, they were built more like they were designed for an EG. I dunno. My CRX has full suspension, but the weak point is that my struts bottom out like whoa, even on full stiff. It pisses me off to no end.

Why do I do it? Because I can. I don't mind speaking with common sense. And yes, it is a lost cause. You lost cause you think it's cool to put other people's lifes in danger. Later, QD.

My anti-taste for any rice got me in some trouble, so I follow second in command with a shut mouth on their styling to their car...unless they turn to me. I'll be there 5am til 7pm probably, with a GTG going on at Wild Wings after that. You're welcome to join up at any of it.

    Thanks again for the support.
Just remeber one thing, Everyone is different in their likes and dislikes, one person may hate wings and fiber, but others may like it, there are some shows where those things count for the good. Now I will say that some cars out there really dont look all that good with the overload of rice that they add. I personally think that a car should just flow together with the modifications that are done, and I dont care if it has a wing or not as long as it can match the car and not look completly out of place ( though every will have there own opinion about what out of place is) The point I am trying to make is that it dosent kill to give a little bit of respect to others though their taste are different than yours.

By the way all the rice talk about my club, I take that a little personally, I drive a Corvette and that is pretty far from being a ricer.

Actually it would give you better gas mileage on a long trip vs. having no fender at all. Less wind resistance, which he was talking about if you read his whole post.

How about you stop talking for your friend here. He actually seems cool, while you just keep making yourself look more and more like an asshat. I would hate for your stupidity to make him look bad to everyone AGAIN.

Keep digging, because that hole just keeps getting deeper.

haha, thanks for props from anyone who posted them.

QD, dude, I'm seriously not here to call you out, or anything along those lines. I'm just requesting you stop ripping on myself as well as my club. And when I post on remote areas, you don't really know where exactly I'm talking about, so you can't really comment on it. Let me give you some insight on where I go and where I've been.
There's a location in Florida in Ocala nearby a dragstrip. It's a road that goes to nowhere, with no buildings or...basically life itself ceases to exist on this road. It's KNOWN for people coming out and doing practice-runs up and down it. Cops even come to watch, and they don't care so long as two cars aren't side-by-side or anything representing or immitating a race. It's a straight run, you can see forever, no one's ever on it, and the only people that are are people that use it for this use. My dad did practice runs when he competed in the NDRA and NDBA (if I recall that second one right) at the track, and people still run it.
Location 2 is located just south of Macon in Warner Robins. It's a road out in front of my ex's house and it's yet again a straight, flat road with no cars ever on it where you can see for at least a mile in every direction. The chick lives in the middle of nowhere. It was used for a while up until someone was stupid and tried to race someone else on it, and now cops patrol it, so it's no longer used for that.
So no...sorry, but no one's life has been in danger by me except my own, and I've got a pretty good handle on my car. Thanks.

Also, as earlier posted by Zack, I never DID say I "beat the lotus" or "beat the Ferrari". I simply said I held with them througout the mountain run. As for "beating" I beat a Z06 in a turn because, being rear wheel drive, they can't exactly "power-out" of turns. I passed him on the inside of a right curve safely as there were two lanes on a road that's rarely traveled on, and we both knew each other, and what the other was doing. In other words...we weren't being stupid about it.

Again, as earlier posted, the fenders were not bought to "make my car faster" or anything like that. I simply said I bought them to save my gas mileage. If you're familiar at all with car design, then you know that's pretty much the only use of a fender, and that with it missing, you have a gap that can build up pressure (against the car) on the front of the door. I never quoted ANYTHING about the slits "helping me out" or anything in any way. I just said that I swung by a shop I used frequently and grabbed what I could so that I could make my appointment in Arizona as cheaply (gas-wise) as possible. Read again. There's nothing on the slits doing anything, nor is there any comments on it making me faster, or handle better, or anything beyond saving gas mileage by preventing a pocket of air at the door.

    Nismo...haha, nice quote.
Tank...yes, I respect HIGHLY those overseas. Both grandfathers were military, girlfriends parents are both military, I've got several friends overseas, and I myself almost joined, but my mom requested I not go. I'm still considering. But I've got relations to people in Quwait, Japan, Afghanistan, and they're in branches from former special forces, to marine, to army, to navy. Thank you for serving.
BTL...finally...someone on here that's decent in literature and vocabulary...thank you.
Lemon...I never said I owned them. I simply said I've run with them. When you can drive pretty well, you gain respect and invites.

Actually, I can comment on anything I want to comment on. There's no problem there. Also, it doesn't matter to me where you go or have been. This isn't Macon/Warner Robbins or Ocala, FL. This is Atlanta. You keep making the comment about doing things and "not being stupid about it." Well, just doing those ilegally is stupid. Oh well. I've said my piece. Later, QD.

QD, alright, you're right, you can comment on anything you want. But when you have no knowledge of the situation to back up or justify your point of view, it's just True statement.
Also, did you notice I said cops would come watch down in Ocala Florida?
Finally, Warner Robins is JUST south of Atlanta, MAYBE 30 minutes. So technically it could still be considered Atlanta. I don't even live in Atlanta. ImportAtlanta has spread, though, if you haven't noticed and it has members from people that live outside of Georgia, even. Not to mention the fact that "in atlanta" wasn't even mentioned. You just said something along the lines of me putting other people in danger by running my car in remote areas, and I was proving that by "remote" I truly meant "remote", no matter where the location was. Think twice. Thanks, anyways.

Lemon, I never denied knowing him. I denied him being in my club PRESENTLY. Yes, he WAS with us. Yes, I was there when the tire destroyed his front end. He got cocky during Nopi, though, and decided he was going to leave after nopi. He basically thought he was too good for us after he coated every window on his car with vinyl from shops he didn't use, and parts he didn't have, and thought it was cool to have an unpainted body kit on his car, split up the front, and falling off the rear. In addition, the kid knows nothing about cars. Ask him who re-did his automatic transmission fluid pan. Oh, ask him if he can drive a stick, while you're at it. Finally, ask him how he got, or perhaps WHO he got to get his exhaust to move so he could fit the body kit on the rear. I'm not calling you out, or being aggressive with you, just setting things straight.

For whomever asked about my KYB's...
The KYB's I use are outstanding. It's a rough-ass ride, even set to 1, but in the turns they're a dream. I'm using AGX's, though, are you sure you're not GR2? And what springs are you using? I've got Sk2 adj. coils, and I've only got them about 2/3 of the way dropped, so I'm not exactly slammed either.
I just can't wait to feel it when more is done...urethane will be completed when I do the EX front disc swap...the rear 91 LS disc swap is already done. Also, adding in 3pt password front strut bar and their C-piller and strut bars. I'm debating on sway bars, though, as my car didn't come with one stock, nor the mounts to add one. You know anything about that kind of swap?

Man I hate my AGXs (yes, they are AGXs. GR2s are garbage). I would also be a little hesitant on the Password JDM strut bar. The concept is there, but the two bars that are going back to the firewall are different lengths, which leads me to believe that one side would be more prone to flexing than the other. That could cause inconsistant handling left to right. I may be being a little picky/anal about it, but my CRX has everything done to my suspension, and even with my bottle and small system in the back of it my weight distribution front to rear is 53 - 47, respectively. Pretty impressive for something that people think is a "show car" (sure it is....that's why it has been shown a whopping 11 times in the 10 years I have owned it).

And yes, you can add sway bars. The "mounts" you speak of, are you talking front or rear? The rear doesn't use factory mounting points, if you get an aftermarket bar like from Suspension Techniques.
