I was thinking the same thing, we do not know how she is financially nor should we be in her business. If she makes $10 or $100,000 a day, week, month, year and she decides to buy the car, let her make that decision. Its a Car Pics Section not a debating whether you can afford a car section. Subarus are great, safe, reliable vehicles and Im pretty sure the baby would be safe and comfortable in this vehicle.

I get on here and talk/enjoy clean cars/something other than TV while im on the road and living out of motels to have whatever my family wants. And those who have kids know how expensive they get between 2-18. Diapers to college, it never stops.

My little 21 month old just got out of diapers... And I almost started crying.. Diapers is as cheap as it gets... i can buy diapers all day long vs whats coming

mines a few months older and thinks theres a monster in the toilet or something so poop wont happen, just poop. I love her to death but that shits annoying as hell. I basically just throw a 20 dollar bill away every 3 weeks. cheap but annoying at this point. And like you said, whats next is SCARY..........

i wasnt talking to you directly, more over to the people saying she shouldnt buy a new car and take care of her kid. While i suspect this is probably a dumb decision on her part (mainly because she ALWAYS makes dumb decisions) , bottom line is we dont know what her finances are like.

But I'm sorry, that doesn't entitle you to anything. You "deserve" nothing more or less than the next person. Trying to fill the hole in your heart with a nice "things" never ends well. Problems are like interest, they perform at their best when they are compounded.

In the end, no one here wants to see her making bad financial decisions and having even more problems down the road. I wish her the best, kids are unbelievably freaking expensive, and if she can afford this car without strapping her bank account then Godspeed... Hope she gets it and enjoys it. But as the old saying goes, a wise man learns from his mistakes, a wiser man learns from others mistakes. We are just giving advise from an older "been there, done that" POV. If she doesn't want to hear the opinions of others (other than fanboi adulation), well then there was no point to making the thread.

Congrats on the new car welcome to the Subaru family. Regardless of the deal, etc, be happy with it and hopefully the choice is and will be justified. Our cars are great, but they can also be a great headache. Don't take the comments in this thread too harshly, I agree with Julio it is just some good old conversation in which not all will be easy going and non confrontational. Bottom line, do what you want no matter what but also keep an open mind for what others who may have been down the road that your trekking.

I for one am glad that she is getting the car. I felt a small amount of guilt and held back my opinion every time she posted pictures of that stupid suzuki. Now when she post pictures of this car (assuming she gets it) I can truly say that its a great looking car and that I like it.
