Crx have small engine bay room. A ek front end makes more room for a 3 inch intercooler piping and room for a 4 inch downpipe.

Eh, this car have some things going for it and some things not. Good shots and overall well put together though, can't argue there.

I love crxs and have went against the grain and done many different front ends myself but that front end doesnt go good with this car and yes he did a ok job on the conversion but as nice as the car is he could have made it line up better. I have helped with a integra front end on a ef hatch that was nasty in a bad way looked terrible but not my car. I helped with a ek front end on a eg hatch it was ok not to bad. I helped with a integra front end on a eg hatch i looked to long was such a nice car it didnt matter made all the magazines. i think i eg front end would be perfect. Its not to far from the stock front end but looks better and doesnt look near as big as the ek front end. The ek front end looks bigger then the whole car but dont get me wrong its a very, very nice car and trust me i know the time it takes to get one this way good job to each his own. It looks way better then the damn delsole with the ek front end in the fs section lol.

in person all these in perfections are non existent...lol! Its a top notch conversion, and if everyone thought the way 80% of hondas owners thought, it would be a very boring honda crowd!

BTW, Josh you cant post links to the blog on Import Atlanta, they will delete it!

The car is clean. Def not a fan of the front end but props for the work and craftsmanship that was put into it. The engine bay is pretty sick though.

I would like to know why someone would put a CRX rear end on a Civic front piece?

If we were able to link you all to the info on the car i would, but i will have to say the car was involved in a collision and the front end was destroyed, and the idea of the front came to play. It wasnt the original plan.

for a car that appears to be so well put together, cant believe that front end (particularly the wheel gap) made it into the paint booth.

it made it into the paint booth because the car owner did the actual conversion i think like 4 years ago. I know the painter...so he just ....Painted it. lol

all this fitment talk about the front end is crazy talk...lol that shit is as good as it gets in person...

And the part of the front you all are talking about has nothing to do with the actual conversion itself, that part is all EK, the front end from the radiator core to about a foot back is all EK front, so that portion has nothing to do with the actual conversion its all EK. He should be at the SF meet..so you all can see it for yourself!

How does it have nothing to do with the conversion when it ruins the whole look of the conversion? Lol. That's like saying, "Oh yea, my car runs perfect with no problems. Has an oil leak, rod knock, and burns coolant though."

I don't usually like conversions either. They normally don't line up so good, and so on. But this one is very well done. The car looks good man. And as long as you like it, then it shouldn't matter what everyone else thinks.

Lol at anybody that thinks the conversion is done right . Just because he actually put a ek core support on it instead of usinf self taping screws does not mean it is done right . There is way to much time put into this car for that wheel gap to be that fd up . There is also no reason for it to be that fd up . If you tell me that there is no way to fix it correctly then he shouldnt have did the conversion period it makes a very, very nice car look like shit . I just dont understand how people can say see it in person man its done rigt. How can you call it right with the wheel gap looking like that ? Is the wheel gap going to magicaly fix itself in person lol ? if you have to have that front end man fine but atleast let me fix the wheel gap for you lol.
