Default BMW M Safety Cars, BMW M Experience, F10 M5 Reveal @ MotoGP Indy

Really excited to share these photos with the forums here. Through a friend I was able to work with BMW M at the MotoGP event at BMW. BMW M was putting on one of their BMW M Experiences and boy was it an experience to be able to provide photography services! This event was to highlight the BMW F10 M5 and I was able to see, hear and ride in an F10 M5. It is an awesome car... the safety car version scoots!

Highlight of the event was eating with BMW M product managers, employees and more. Really was able to get some insight into the BMW M program. Many past Grand Prix riders were present to answer questions and enjoy watching the race with us. Enjoy the photos!

That'd be an awesome event to attend but I have to say I'm not a fan of BMW's lately. They're all starting to look the same and blend it with everything else on the road today.

Why is it a 1M when all the other models are M3, M5, M....7?

Because there is already an M1 and it looks nothing like that midget of a car.

The M5 has already gone 7:55 laps in traffic on the ring with BMW test drivers. That's going to be one seriously fast, large machine

The new STi sedan does it in 7:55 as well. I wouldnt say that's impressive for BMW's part considering it'll cost double of other cars that are just as capable. Anyways, I'll stop there since this thread isn't about the Nurburgring lap times.

Yeah probably should because your comparing an R205 limited production car combined with a Spec C car along with the addition of an even bigger turbo, intercooler, Re070 tires, cage, coil overs, big brakes and bucket seats driven by a Rallye champion to a 4300lb luxury and PRODUCTION car driven in traffic by a test driver.

In other words a comparison of apples to salisbury steak

The vehicle I am referring too is a 100% stock production vehicle. Not a Spec C or anything limited production.

Drive BMW M3, 1M and X6M that you do not own around IMS Road Course. Cars you do not own and do not have to worry about. Get rides from BMW Performance School Instructors in BMW M5, 1M and M3 Safety cars at speed around track. Watch MotoGP. Paddock and Pit Access. Dinner. Lunch. Etc.

    It was an awesome event.
