lol. They're WedsSport, not like he went to pep boys and threw some 20s on it. Stock wheels are 16's, his fronts are 17's... 1" increase, 2" in the rear.

It's very easy to tell the difference between a rotary engine and a piston engine rx7 without even looking under the hood. I'll show you how.......

liter to liter, agreed. You can make alot more power out of a 2.6L 13b then a 2.6L v6/v8 and with less work.

I'm not a rotary fanatic, but I do know that if you take a 13B and any piston motor of the same size and put, say $1000, into modifying it, The 13B in most cases will make more power.

If a 1.3 liter rotary is as torquey all over as a LS1 is, then you MAY have an arguement. However, I'd "have" to deal with a LS1/T56 than the stock drivetrain any day.

When using this type of car for racing having all your power up top helps a lot rather than have it all at the bottom meaning the car is more agile.

But for every day use it would be great power in any gear really makes any car fun to zip around in.

And either way the ls1 fd can turn 1000000000x better than the drag king F bodies

My buddy bought a twin turbo rx-7. Motor went out in a month and it was cheaper to do an ls1 then rebuild it. He had both and he loves the ls1 version better. I love the look of the rx-7 but I just don't trust the motor.

it's no bandwagon. ls1 is a great engine that fits in almost anything you want to put it in, in addition to having endless aftermarket support. Rx7 is an amazing automobile that just so happened to come with a boat anchor under the hood. Joining these 2 glorious automotive creations together just seems like the right thing to do. ls1 is probably the most popular and well rounded engine on the market, if it is a "bandwagon", get used to it, because people are gonna be putting ls1s in pretty much any and everything for years to come. i mean........... come on!!!!

The LS1 (or any Chevy performance motor for that fact) is without a doubt an awesome power maker; as with the RX7 being an outstanding platform. I just think its stupid to go outside the original manufacturing company to source more power.

"God" wasn't on vacation; he had it right with what platform the LS1 was going into.
