SUCKIE DAY! 75 on hwy 85....some grand am was gonna pin me between the concrete barrier so i swirved hit the barrier anyway at 70ish mph... ricochet across three lanes and ended up in a ditch. damage doesnt LOOK bad..but its def. not good.
-two wheels are GONE
-abs light is on
-frame appears to be twisted
-axles shot
-bumper(s) damaged
-right body indentions
-some fluid is leaking
-car wont start

You have to hit the sensor just right to deploy them, some wrecks are small but the sensor is hit and they deploy other times it's a bad wreck and they don't.
Troof, when I wrecked the SRT, I t-boned a girl at 50mph and air bags didnt deploy. But the steering wheel fucked me up.

best way to describe is going str8 on 85 at 70-75 mph and swirved to the left and hit the barrier as u can see by the front bumper. i would have thought driver airbag would have gone off. however knowing that i am okay i am glad that it didnt cause that powder/buring would have made my pink eye worse hahahaahah

Mine didn't deploy either. It was raining and a guy in a ranger slammed on his brakes and slid off the road into a disabled vehicle. He knocked it into my path. I hit it at about 50 head-on, drivers half.
Might've been because it was more like a "scrape" than a hit. Getting hit with an airbag is horrible though, so that's a bit of a relief though right? Good to see you're alright! Looks like it could've been worse.
actually above a certain speed its more dangerous for them to deploy, thats why they are a supplemental restraint system, nothing can replace the good ole seat belts.
I'll say it again, glad you're ok...don't worry about the car as it can be replaced.

Yeah sometimes no airbag is good, sometimes you NEED the airbag, I've known of people getting hurt in a small wreck only because of the airbag lol.
Should have let that person hit you. Stupid move on your part. Now you have to dig money ouy of your own pocket.
um not exactly. i felt IN THE MOMENT that it was a better decision to hit the wall then get pinned between a wall an car hitting me going faster than i was. didnt feel like dying..if u know what i mean. k thanks BYE.

How do you know you were going to die? Just because you avoided an accident dosent mean you avoided death.
Again either way your going to paying out of your pocket to cover something that could have been easily avoided or repaired without having your self to pay for it. Expecially since you swerved 3 lanes to avoid "death" < Do you really think swerving into a wall and traveling across three more lanes and not hitting anyone(That could caused a more severe accident or possibly death) was on driver skill or luck

However, I'd have to agree and say I would've rather let the other person hit me and have them pay for it. Especially since they were obviously at fault.
That's neither here nor there. It's all said and done.
UM! either way the guy drove off and never stopped.. so if he hit me who is to say he would have stopped. if i caused an accident wether i hit em or not I WOULD STOP! police officer wrote report and found the car that didnt stop at fault. and yes I AM GLAD THAT I AM OK and that AIDAN wasnt in the car.

Glad to see ya ok i had my share of accidents too cuz otha ppl cant drive, Damn now that grand am done made us look bad but trust me i pay to whos around me wen i drive my grand am so u wont have to worry bout me hittin anybody.
Might worry about your wing falling off and hurting someone though. Be careful with that thing.
