Every car that people posted up to bolster their arguement is a vintage car. They look good since the car is shorter as well. It fits. This car is a tall bodied car minus a windshield. He removed weight by removing the windshield....that's about the only saving grace that car has.

    As for the other comment.

It's pretty low, has very nice offset especially for a race (supposed) car and ...well no rusted hood. 2 out of 3 ain't bad. But it does fit the other half of IA's nutswingers. It's lowered, basically stock looking minus the hack job and has wheels on it. Clean lovers can attach lips to tailpipe at this time. It's no different than being in a bike in the rain, is it comfortable? Not particul

Personally, I am a huge fan of function on a vehicle. But in this case, it just isn't doing it for me. All he has managed to do is ruin an S200 if the windscreen is not attachable. If it is, big kudos to that guy. But if it's not, it's gonna be at best a weekend racer that he's gonna be regretting on rainy race days.
How do you know it wasn't a salvaged roll over car bought at an auction with a bent windshield frame and busted glass? I almost bought one that had not even had it's first oil change for $4k years ago. there was no damage to the rear quarters...only body panels on the front clip and one door with the top torn & bent up and windshield frame crushed. This car could have been duplicated for $8k with it after replacing the front panels, wheels, tires, chopping off the window frame, race seat, single roll hoop, and fabricating a tonneau cover. Find me a brand new 240hp 8,500/9k rpm 2,500 lb race car for $8-10k.

Is that how this car was built? I don't know, it's speculation. For all I know it could have been paid for in cash from the dealer and went straight to a shop to be modified for the track. Logic tells me it was built exactly how I could have done it 5 years ago.

Do you know how may 100's/1,000's of open cockpit cars race every weekend? lol! It's no different than a motorcycle in the rain. It's not NASCAR either, they can make turns in the rain. An experienced driver will pull nearly identical lap times in the rain as on dry asphalt anyways. That's what rain tires with a tread wear of like 30 are for lol! They feel like bubble gum when they are cold then get insanely sticky after heating up.
