Car show "ooh look at me" types usually don't connect w/ FUNCTIONAL mods. This is basically a racecar w/ reducing the drag co-efficient being number 1. It's unique - done very well (although unfinished) and shows the DEDICATION that the racer has. To each his own, but as stated this gets a thumbs up IMO.

He didn't "ruin" an s2000. It now has even less drag co-efficient than stock. It's lighter. He simply turned a "street-car" into a purpose built "racecar" - that's all he did.

It does? From 2 photos you can see the Dedication that the racer has? I see a basically stock S2000 with no windshield. Sure, it reduces some drag, along with the rear under valance.....probably Carbon Fiber along with the canards on the front. I see nothing that shows any dedication...except....cutting the whidshield off of an S2000. That I guess is dedication of sorts. If you got the money to do that sort of thing, great. I wholeheartedly support it. I honestly don't care that he fucked up an S2000, I just think it looks stupid. And no matter how much drag coefficient he got out of it, it's still a dumb mod......as I said above, specially on those race days where that less drag coefficient slams the water straight into his face as mother nature dumps out on him in turn 4.

I'd also like to see the rear end of the car. I wouldn't be suprised if it was still registered and he drove it on the street every now and again. If anyone has any other photos showing more about this car, stick em up.

If you're gonna do it, overdo it.

Thank you for answering your own question - lol.

No1 chops a s2k b/c they are only partly dedicated. That part of the equation is a no-brainer. I am not gonna waste time arguing opinions b/c every1 will simply not like this, as this thread shows. All I want people to see is that this is a PURPOSE BUILT car. What the other racers who ran this event with this driver will say/think at Waffle House after the races is VERY different than what "some street-racer" or "car show guru" will think.

It's no different than pro-v8 guys asking me why I strapped a snail to a 91 Civic Hatch. No matter how fast it is, they just "don't get it" and it doesn't make sense to them. To each his own
