    That's actually a golf with a jetta front end, and i'm sure there's a reason the handles aren't installed yet.

    Can you VW guys nicely and politely explain to me the reason concerning the Jetta front end?

    Aesthetically I think the Golf looks much better...so fill me in people.

    thanks for the comments...I think I have whored out my car enough....so the next pictures you will see will be after its painted....

    as for the jetta front...i guess because it bolts right up, with little to zero modification..I prefer them on a mk3 but thats me...my car originally came with a jetta front..so maybe the mk3/mk4 guys got the idea from the mk2....

    I guess the best way to sum it up is a large part of the euro scene is about subtlety. Putting a Jetta front end on a GTI or Golf or putting a Golf front end on a Jetta is different, however to the average person it might not even look any different. Its one of those subtle mods that the enthusiasts will appreciate. It bolts right up, usually cheap to do as you can almost always find someone with the other car willing to do the swap, and changes up the look of the front of your car completely. Personally I like all combinations, some cars pull of a Jetta front end on a GTI better, some cars not as much, and the inverse holds true with the GTI front end.
