I guess the best way to sum it up is a large part of the euro scene is about subtlety. Putting a Jetta front end on a GTI or Golf or putting a Golf front end on a Jetta is different, however to the average person it might not even look any different. Its one of those subtle mods that the enthusiasts will appreciate. It bolts right up, usually cheap to do as you can almost always find someone with the other car willing to do the swap, and changes up the look of the front of your car completely. Personally I like all combinations, some cars pull of a Jetta front end on a GTI better, some cars not as much, and the inverse holds true with the GTI front end.
